This Privacy Policy explains how Axiom Genesis Labs Inc., a Delaware corporation, doing business as neso ("Axiom Genesis Labs," "we," "us," "our," or "neso"), collects, uses, stores, and discloses personal information in connection with the neso mobile application, the website at helloneso.com, and all related services (collectively, "neso").
By accessing or using neso, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to comply with this Privacy Policy.
1.Information We Collect
neso collects information you voluntarily provide, information generated through your use of neso, and information collected automatically.
A. Information You Provide
Many fields are optional. You decide what information to enter to help you safely store and organize your own caregiving records.
Example — Account Information: name, email address, password or authentication credentials, and phone number if provided.
Example — Baby Profile and Caregiving Information: baby name or nickname, date of birth or age, sex if provided, profile photo if provided, caregiver details, ZIP code or location preferences, pediatrician name and phone number, daycare information, doctor instructions, logs or notes for feeding, sleep, diapers, growth, temperature, symptoms, medications, vaccinations, milestones, appointments, routines, observations, memories, custom notes, chat messages, questions, feedback, and preferences.
neso is not a HIPAA-covered entity, and nothing in this Policy creates HIPAA obligations that would not otherwise apply. Regardless of whether any information you enter would qualify as protected health information under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), neso does not share your health-related or caregiving information — including symptoms, medications, and routine notes — with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes, and safeguards that information using the security measures described in this Policy.
By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and are authorized to provide any child information submitted through neso.
Medication Logs
neso may allow you to manually store medication-related logs for your personal reference and organization only.
Medication logs are user-entered records. neso does not provide medication dosing guidance, medication safety assessments, medical advice, clinical recommendations, or treatment instructions based on medication logs or any other information entered into neso. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of any medication information you enter. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider or pharmacist with treatment and/or medication-related questions.
Photos, Images, and Uploaded Content
You may upload photos, documents, or other content.
You may not upload intimate, private, unlawful, or sensitive images of children, including images depicting a child's genital area, diaper area, buttocks, bathing, toileting, diaper changes, diaper rash, or private medical conditions. Violations may result in account suspension or termination at the sole discretion of neso.

B. Information Collected Automatically
neso may collect device information, browser type, operating system, IP address, approximate location from IP, usage data, error logs, crash reports, and performance data.
We use this information to operate and secure neso, detect and prevent fraud or abuse, diagnose and fix technical issues, understand which features are used so we can improve neso, and determine which laws apply to your use of the service based on your general location.
ZIP code or location features may be used to provide environmental information, such as weather, outside temperature, or air quality. You can disable location access in your device settings.
C. Security Risk Notice
neso uses industry-standard safeguards to help protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. Despite our efforts, unauthorized access, hacking, loss, misuse, or disclosure of information could occur, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. By using neso, you acknowledge and accept this inherent risk. See Section 11 (Security) for additional information.
2.Information About Children
neso is designed exclusively for parents, legal guardians, and authorized caregivers who are at least 18 years of age. neso is not directed to children, and no individual under 18 years of age may create an account or use neso as a registered user, whether directly or indirectly. In neso, children are the subject of caregiving records entered by an authorized adult user — not users of the service themselves.
neso does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Any information about a child in neso is provided voluntarily by an adult account holder who has represented that they are authorized to provide it. neso is designed consistent with the principles reflected in the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and applicable Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidance regarding children's privacy.
During account creation, users are required to confirm that they are at least 18 years of age and authorized to create a profile for the child. By using neso or submitting child information, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and are authorized to do so. If we learn that an individual under 18 has created an account, we will restrict access, suspend the account, and delete associated data.
neso uses child information only to provide the service to the authorized adult account holder — including organizing caregiving records, generating personalized responses, and supporting neso's caregiving features. neso does not use child information for advertising or marketing purposes, and does not disclose child information to third parties for their independent advertising or marketing.
If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to neso, please contact us at support@helloneso.com and we will take steps to delete it.
3.How We Use Information
neso uses personal information to provide and improve neso, manage accounts, personalize experiences, support caregiving features, respond to requests, send transactional communications, conduct analytics, maintain security, comply with law, and protect users and the service.
4.Use of AI Features
neso may use artificial intelligence, machine learning, speech processing, language processing, or related technologies to help organize information, generate summaries, answer questions, process voice input, structure caregiver notes, and provide general educational content.
When you use AI-powered features, the information needed to process your request may be processed by neso and by third-party service providers that help us operate the service. neso does not use your personal information or caregiving data to train any third-party AI models.
neso does not use your identifiable personal information or caregiving data to train neso's own AI models; only de-identified or aggregated data is used for that purpose, as described in Section 5.
AI-generated responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or not appropriate for your specific situation. AI responses are provided for general informational and educational purposes only.
neso's AI features do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency guidance, medication dosing guidance, or any clinical recommendations. You should not rely on AI-generated content to make medical, medication, emergency, or health-related decisions on behalf of your child or any child in your care.
Always consult a qualified healthcare provider with questions about a child's health, development, symptoms, medications, or medical care. In an emergency, seek immediate medical attention.
5.De-Identified and Aggregated Information
neso may create de-identified or aggregated data that does not identify individuals and use it for product improvement, analytics, research, and to train neso's own AI or machine learning models.
7.Payments
Subscriptions and payments may be processed by Apple, Google, or another authorized app store or payment processor. Those providers process payment information under their own terms and privacy notices. neso may receive limited transaction information, such as subscription status, purchase history, and transaction identifiers, but does not directly receive or store complete payment-card numbers.
9.Your Choices and Rights
Your data belongs to you. You can update your information in neso, opt out of promotional emails, manage device permissions, and request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting support@helloneso.com or following the account-deletion process available within the neso app. neso will respond to deletion requests in accordance with applicable law. neso will respond to all other requests in accordance with applicable law.
10.Account Deletion and Data Retention
You own your data; and may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. neso will delete or de-identify your information upon request, subject to legal, security, and backup needs. neso retains data only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service or as required by law.
Once your information has been de-identified or aggregated in accordance with Section 5, it is no longer linked to you, and account deletion does not affect neso's ability to retain or use that de-identified or aggregated data.
11.Security
neso uses encryption for data in transit and at rest and takes all reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no system is completely secure, and neso cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, hacking, loss, misuse, or disclosure of information will never occur. No company, including Axiom Genesis Labs Inc., can fully eliminate security risks connected to handling information on the Internet.
YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT SECURITY SAFEGUARDS, BY THEIR NATURE, ARE CAPABLE OF CIRCUMVENTION AND AXIOM GENESIS LABS DOES NOT AND CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION WILL NOT BE ACCESSED BY UNAUTHORIZED PERSONS CAPABLE OF OVERCOMING SUCH SAFEGUARDS. IN PARTICULAR, OUR PRODUCTS MAY BE USED TO ACCESS AND TRANSFER INFORMATION, INCLUDING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION, OVER THE INTERNET. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT AXIOM GENESIS LABS DOES NOT OPERATE OR CONTROL THE INTERNET AND THAT UNAUTHORIZED USERS (SUCH AS HACKERS) MAY USE VIRUSES, WORMS, TROJAN HORSES, AND OTHER UNDESIRABLE DATA AND SOFTWARE TO OBTAIN ACCESS TO OR DAMAGE OUR SITES, PRODUCTS, OR YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION.
Furthermore, we cannot be responsible for any of your Personal Information that you release on your own, or that you request or authorize us to release.
12.International Users and Data Transfers
Axiom Genesis Labs is located in the United States, and neso operates from the United States. Your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States or other countries where neso or our service providers operate.
By using neso, you acknowledge and consent to this transfer and processing.
13.Third-Party Services
Links or integrations with third parties (such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, or similar services) are governed by their own privacy policies, which you agreed to accept by creating an account.
14.Disclaimer of Medical Advice and HIPAA Status
neso is a consumer application for personal record-keeping and general informational caregiving support.
neso is not a medical device, healthcare provider, medical service, emergency response service, or remote patient monitoring service. neso is not intended to be a HIPAA-covered service. Regardless of whether any information you enter would qualify as protected health information under HIPAA, neso does not share that information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
Nothing in neso, including any content, feature, AI-generated response, suggestion, summary, log, notification, or communication, constitutes medical advice, clinical guidance, diagnosis, treatment, medication guidance, emergency guidance, or a substitute for professional care.
Axiom Genesis Labs expressly disclaims any and all liability for reliance on neso content to make medical, medication, emergency, or health-related decisions, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Always consult a qualified healthcare provider regarding questions or concerns about the health, development, symptoms, medication, or medical care of a child or caregiver. In emergencies, seek immediate medical attention.
15.Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be amended by neso from time to time. If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by posting the revised Privacy Policy in the neso app or notifying you at your primary email address (if any, as specified in your Account information). You are responsible at all times for updating your Account to provide to us your most current email address. If the last email address that you have provided to us is not valid, or for any reason is not capable of delivering to you the notice described above, our dispatch of the email containing such notice will nonetheless constitute effective notice of the changes described in the notice. Any changes to this Privacy Policy will be effective immediately for new users of neso; otherwise these changes will be effective upon the earlier of five (5) calendar days following our dispatch of an email notice to you or five (5) calendar days following our posting of a notice in neso. Your continued use of neso five (5) calendar days after the changes are first notified by neso as described above will constitute your agreement to such changes. If you object to any change, your sole recourse shall be to immediately terminate your Account and cease using neso. Except as otherwise provided in this Section, no amendment to this Privacy Policy will be valid.
16.Governing Law and Contact
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware.
